Revolution Brewing Rosa

While working at Chicago’srevolution-rosa Goose Island Brewery, Josh Deth dreamt up the idea for what would become Revolution Brewing. After a few failed attempts, the perfect location popped up and a few years later the brewery opened in February 2010.

In a rather short period of time, Revolution has become one of the leaders and innovators in the craft brewing industry. In 2016, Revolution Brewing cracked into the Brewers Association’s list of the top 50 craft brewing companies in the United States.

Rosa is a highly drinkable golden ale steeped with hibiscus flowers. This seasonal brew is currently available locally in 6 pack cans.

5.8% ABV

Pour: Pours a vivid, medium pink. Has a nice off-white head with light pink hues.

Nose: Faint floral and ripe berry notes.

Palate: Sweet cherry and citrus notes up front with a some malty bread notes on the mid palate. Finishes clean with sweet cherry flavors.

Overall: This seasonal brew really hit the spot. Probably not something I could drink all day, but a nice treat on a warm summer day.
